Country Guardian's Guide to UK Windfarms

Tenth Edition - November 2004

This is the Internet version of Country Guardian's Red Booklet, the Guide to UK Windfarms

The Red Booklet consists of a number of tables listing Current, Failed and Approved windfarm sites.

Detailed information about the contents, current statistics, etc are available from the Introduction page, which you are advised to read first. A key point is that the lists are in the sequence of Site Name within Zone, the Zones being those shown on the map below.

Because of the size of the database (nearly 600 sites) the lists on this internet version are split up into smaller groups than previously, to reduce download time. The lists are:

A1. Current projects, Scotland

A2 Current projects, England

A3 Current projects Wales/IoM/Northern Ireland

B Failed projects, including inactive NFFO/SRO projects

C Operational windfarms and those cleared for construction
